Planning commission recommends pot ordinance to Allegan City Council
ALLEGAN, Mich. — Monday night the Allegan County Planning Commission voted to recommend the Allegan City Council approve an ordinance within the city that regulates the sale of both recreational and medical marijuana within city limits. The commission changed the proposed ordinance to allow for designated consumption facilities to be open from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Designated consumption facilities wouldn’t sell marijuana, but would be places where people could consume it freely.
