Amazon's Fire TV Edition is a cord-cutter's dream -- when Alexa works
Smart TV is a steal at $299, but there are many steps to getting Alexa to replace your remote control, and even then, Alexa is more efficient at music and weather than TV. It often can't find the TV station, even when it's staring at you from the channel guide. Expect some major setup pains.
